This is my new project! Actually, I got this idea when I was in my second year, but I had to prioritize my own studies, so I wasn't able to complete it.
I have spent hundreds of hours teaching students Biochemistry, Physiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics the last few years. Out of all the questions I have been asked by current students the following is by far the most prevailing:
'What and how should I study?'
Unfortulately, I won't have time to help as many students as I would like to. So, in order to help as many students as possible, I will try to make an overview of the curriculum I was expected to know when I had these subjects.
I also hope that this part of my website will give students at other Medical Universities or prospective students an overview of the curriculum at Semmelweis Medical University.
These were the topics I studied when I had these classes.
As I continue to progress and get a better overview of things, I will continue to update these notes.
The topic lists I have published are the topic lists I had and the topic lists I have published for the 5th year have been cleared by the departments (unless otherwise indicated).
There are three main reasons:
Use these notes as a guidance only!
I personally believe all of it is correct and they are my notes, after all, but I have to put in a disclaimer like that.
And a second and more important thing:
Don't just stay at home and memorize stuff you read in books (or in my notes).
Ask you teachers, discuss with them, but be polite.
The stuff you learn during practices will stick so much harder in your memory than the things you read about around midnight the day before the exam.
