This site will look much better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.

I received this in an email from Harald Schult Ulriksen. Thanks, Harald!
In regards to signing up for exams on the Neptun system, a lot of you are having problems logging into the system using a Mac.
It is fully possible for those of you that use a Mac to access the Neptun System.
You can also access the Neptun System without having to use Internet Explorer.
This is what you need to do:
For Mac you need to install Remote Desktop Connection Client 2.0 from Microsoft.
It is currently
in beta version only, but works fine on the Neptun System.
For those of you that have PC, the Remote Desktop Connection Client 2.0 is pre-installed on Windows XP (and Vista).
Download for Mac here:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/download/MISC/RDC2.0_Public_Beta_download.xml
Or from this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/otherproducts.aspx?pid=remotedesktopclient
After you have installed the Remote Desktop Connection Client, you have to start the program and connect to one of the following ip addresses:
193.225.83.199
193.225.83.200
193.225.83.201
193.225.83.202
193.225.83.203
When you type in the ip adress you will be asked to type in username, password and domain. Use these:
Username: hallgato
Password: neptun
Domain: NEPTUN
Harald has helped several students with this and he said some have had problems starting the RDC after the program is installed. He made a link for that here: http://harald.ulriksen.net/media/634/neptun.zip
Thanks, Harald!
