This site will look much better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.
Semmelweis University launched its new Neptun System this week (March 2008).
Here is a quick starter guide.
First of all, you can use ANY browser to access the Neptun System now, because they don't require you to use specific software (like they did before - the remote desktop).
Step 1 - Go to http://net.neptun.sote.hu!

Step 2 - Choose the English in the Nyelv (language) box.
Your login (Azonosító) is the same as before.
Your password (Jelszó) is going to be reset to your date of birth. In this case it is YEAR-MONTH-DAY (YYYYMMDD).
If you were born on May 8th 1980, then the default password is 19800508
Step 3 - Now you need to change your password!
The first time you log in you will be asked to do so.
If you skipped this step, you can change your password by clicking on
PERSONAL DATA and then SETTINGS
This is the first page you see (after you change the password):
Step 4 - Make sure your personal data is correct by clicking on PERSONAL DATA and then PERSONAL DATA (menu that slides down)
Step 5 - Make sure that you have the correct email address registered by clicking on PERSONAL DATA and then CONTACT INFORMATION
Your email has to be registered as OFFICIAL and not PERSONAL in order for you to received emails from the Secretariat!!
The Neptun System looks great and please send me any emails if you want me to explain more stuff!
